Slaves, Don Broco, Travis Scott, The Vaccines & more join the Reading line up
With over 40 new names added, summer is about to get a whole lot louder.
We’re about to lift the lid on another 42 acts joining us at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival, plus those all important stage splits. Reading and Leeds 2018 will play host to an unparalleled bill of superstars chucking out game-changing sounds over the bank holiday weekend. Want to know who we’ve added to the line up? You’ve come to the right place.
As if the already announced Kings of Leon, Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy and UnderØath wasn’t enough, rock music regulars at the festival now have a whole load more to look forward to. Ready to cheer up? Probably the most popular duo in music right now, Slaves, will make a triumphant return to the stages. Never two to under deliver, you can expect the unexpected from the pair responsible for the likes of ‘Spit It Out’ and ‘Are You Satisfied?’
They conquered the fields last year under the name ‘The Pretty Boys’ and now Don Broco are back doing what they do best. They’ll be joined by current darlings of the UK post-punk guitar band scene, Shame, who will be bringing their debut album ‘Songs Of Praise’ to life at the festivals.
The Vaccines will be bringing their rock n’ raucous performance style to Reading and Leeds allowing you to see the band performing their colossal hits, ‘Post Break-Up Sex’, ‘If You Wanna’, ‘Handsome’ and more.
It doesn’t stop there – indie veterans The Kooks will be on hand to add a dash of noughties power pop to proceedings, taking us through fourteen years of crowd-pleaser hits from ‘She Moves In Her Own Way’ through to the recent single, ‘Be Who You Are’.
Hitting the hallowed sites of Reading and Leeds festival this August are the Norfolk-based band, Deaf Havana. Expect to see some of the band’s biggest hits including ‘Fickle Like These’, ‘Trigger’ and ‘Little White Lies’. They’ll be joined on the line up by singer-songwriter Kate Nash, who makes her return to the stage after huge success as an actress across the Atlantic.
Joining the already huge line up is US hip-hop legend, Travis Scott, who will doubtlessly deliver a festival-stopping set featuring cuts from his hotly anticipated album, ‘Astroworld’.
All these acts and more join previously announced acts Kendrick Lamar, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Kings of Leon, Dua Lipa, Wolf Alice and more.
