Have you heard these new releases from Pale Waves, Tom Grennan and Trash Boat yet?
On a weekend where we celebrated the marriage of Meghan and Harry just for the sake of it, there were plenty of new releases sound-tracking the party vibes.
Pale Waves release another dreamy bop
Seriously, when are we going to be able to get our teeth into a full length Pale Waves album? ‘Kiss’ is the latest release from the Manchester band, and it features some of the sexiest bass we’ve heard in a while.
‘No Pressure’ The Kooks are back
The Kooks have returned with two brand new tracks, ‘All The Time’ and ‘No Pressure’ as well as their fifth studio album, ‘Let’s Go Sunshine’. These new tracks are filled to the brim with breezy, feel-good summer vibes. You don’t have long to wait for the new album either, dropping on August 31st – we’re bound to hear some new songs from the boys at this year’s Reading Festival.
Sigrid takes it back to school in her ‘High Five’ video
It feels like there isn’t a week that goes by where we don’t talk about Sigrid, but can you blame us? She’s the gift that just keeps on giving. This time the Norwegian singer is back with the video for ‘High Five’. See if you can spot the E.T and High School Musical references in the video. We’re soaring, flying.
Riton and Kah-Lo release a filthy banger
‘Ginger’ was released just in time for Prince Harry’s wedding, coincidence? We think not. This is a glorified 10/10 banger, just give us all the beats already.
Tom Grennan blasts out the anthemic indie vibes
‘Barbed Wire’ is the latest release to come out of the Tom Grennan camp and like its predecessors it’s packed with gritty, rogue lyrics and rugged emotion. Try and stop us singing along with this when he headlines the Festival Republic stage.
Diplo and Lil Pump are ready to bring the party
Both performing at Reading this year, it would be kind of rude if at least one of them didn’t drop ‘Welcome To The Party’. Heading to the cinema to see Deadpool 2 soon? You’ll get this dope track wrapped around your ears too.
Trash Boat bring the RIFFS
Need some sweet melodic hardcore in your life? You’ve stumbled upon the right article. Trash Boat’s ‘Shade’ is exactly that, this goes hard. Want more from them? Their album ‘Crown Shyness’ drops on July 20th.
Kendrick scoops up not 1, not 2, but 6 Billboard Music Awards
King Kenny struck again at last night’s Billboard Music Awards taking home Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Rap Album and Top Streaming Song (Audio).
Posty also managed to walk away with the award for Best Rap Song for ‘Rockstar’.
And of course, Lil Pump turned up looking like this. Just give him an award for his style already.
Still here? Get your tickets for Reading Festival now, don’t be that mate who sits at home and watches everyone else having fun. No one wants that.
