Pale Waves’ mind makes noises while Bloxx take away the Monday blues

Started at uni this week and need some new tunes on your playlist? We’re here to help with all the best stuff you need in your ear holes.

Pale Waves’ mind makes noises

The Manchester-based band released their highly-anticipated debut album on Friday, and it’s been giving us feels ever since. After tearing up the Festival Republic Stage on Saturday at this year’s Reading the album tells their story of break-ups, make-ups and bitter fallouts.

Riton & Kah-Lo funk it up

Summer doesn’t have to disappear when there’s Riton and Kah-Lo’s ‘Catching Feelings’ in the mix. This laid-back track has a tinge of sadness – pretty apt considering we’ve still got the blues after Reading Fest.

Brockhampton announce a new album and documentary

If you wanted proof that Brockhampton are the hardest working boyband in the industry, here it is. Not only have they announced their new album, ‘Iridescence’ dropping September 21st, they’ve also released a trailer for their documentary ‘The Longest Summer in America’.

The film gives fans an in-depth look into the band’s busy summer as they wrapped up their European tour and spent time at the iconic Abbey Road Studios to make the album.

Kate Nash releases the bloody ‘Hate You’ video

Not content with being our favourite wrestling legend in ‘Glow’, Kate has released the swear-happy ‘Hate You’. PSA: This could almost be something from a horror movie, don’t watch if you’re easily grossed out.

Speaking about the video Kate said:

‘Hate You’ is putting up with the stuff you shouldn’t. Realising maybe you don’t actually like the person you love. ‘Hate You,’ is finally seeing what you’re being served. You’re emotionally spent and you keep hanging on cause you believe in love.

Bloxx take away the Monday blues

With their aptly titled track, ‘Monday’ – see what we did there? Taken from their upcoming EP ‘Headspace’ due for release next year, the new track is another thrashing slice of indie you’re going to want to keep going back for.

Bexey releases the visuals for ‘Take a Shot’

Gearing up for his ‘SPOOKY ELECTRICK EP’ due for release next week, Bexey has released the hard-hitting ‘Take a Shot’.

Bringing back memories of the best weekend of your life? Us too. While we’re working hard on making next year’s festival bigger and better than ever – why not pick up your tickets in advance?

If you do, you’ll be saving yourself money, so really it’s a win-win.
