More names announced for RandL22
Here you go! Another 70 + names for what’s set to be one of the biggest parties in #RandL22 history. We’re pleased to be able to reveal who’s playing on each stage, and bringing you a selection of some amazing artists from a broad selection of sounds. From bands to rappers, DJs to solo artists and much more, #RandL22 will have something for everyone.
MAINSTAGES
Joining the 2022 line-up is US Gen-Z singing sensation WILLOW. Never confined to one genre, musical chameleon Willow Smith will undoubtedly take festival fans on a seamless journey through her R&B to pop-punk discography. Also performing an unapologetic set of hard-hitting punk rock is Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes. Following last year’s secret set at The Lock Up stage, the band led by inimitable frontman Frank Carter are gearing up for a huge return to the festival following the release of their third studio album ‘Sticky’. Bradford’s comedic UK garage sensations Bad Boy Chiller Crew will also make their return to Reading and Leeds, with alt-pop phenomenon Poppy, collaborator British MC Bru-C, Canadian rapper BBNO$, indie rock fourpiece Black Honey, Australian rockers DMA’s, Maryland pop-punk mainstays All Time Low, South London hip hop juggernaut D-Block Europe and Northern rock’n’rollers The Sherlocks amongst the talent joining the line-up this summer.
RADIO 1 DANCE STAGE
Showcasing the best and brightest in Dance and Electronica the scene has to offer, the Reading and Leeds 2022 line-up sees a huge selection of dance acts join the bill for a bank holiday celebration like no other. Contemporary dance music duo, Gorgon City, D’n’B duo Sigma, Southampton tech house producer Biscits, UK radio’s next gen champion Jaguar, jungle DJs and producers Bou, breakout hyper pop sensations 100 gecs, and viral sensation GAYLE are amongst those announced, with dirty D’n’B beats from A.M.C, who will be joined by collaborator MC Phantom, soulful vocals from Nia Archives, Meg Ward’s acidic synths, and off-kilter rhythms from AMA also set to start the party. Further names announced across the weekend include the genre-spanning Bakar, Irish house duo Obskür, Bradford-born producer TS7, secret electronic TikTok artist The Stickmen Project, leader of the new wave D’n’B scene Kanine, rising star Tommy Farrow, Manchester duo Piri & Tommy, 90’s hip-hop revivalists Joey Valence & Brae, brother duo Everyone You Know, New York singer-songwriter Gus Dapperton, and Somerset hip-hop duo Sad Night Dynamite.
THE PIT
Providing the finest in underground noise, Reading and Leeds 2022 has announced a host of new alternative names. Brighton pop-punk emo rockers As It Is, Canadian hard rock duo cleopatrick, Southern Californian gutter goth singer carolesdaughter, new heavy frontrunners Tigercub, post-hardcore outfit Static Dress, US pop-punk rapper Sueco, and Hastings heavyweights Kid Kapichi are set to pack a punch with explosive riffs across the bank holiday weekend, alongside Irish metal fourpiece The Scratch, and Manchester doom-punks Witch Fever who will undoubtedly deliver a confrontational and grunge heavy performance.
FESTIVAL REPUBLIC STAGE
Championing the hottest talent in indie and pop, the 2022 line-up also welcomes the addition of critically acclaimed indie-darling beabadoobee, TikTok star turned solo musician Abby Roberts, soulful Scottish singer Brooke Combe, brooding Gen-Z singer-songwriter ROLE MODEL, Northern rockers The Blinders, Welsh psychedelic funk rock band CVC, Liverpool’s fast rising alt rock four-piece Crawlers, and indie fuzz-pop band The K’s.

Amplifying hip-hop, R&B, rap, grime, and everything in-between, Reading and Leeds will welcome a whole host of the freshest sounds in 2022 including British rap pioneer Pa Salieu, UK drill star Unknown T, hip-hop duo Krept & Konan, Coventry wonderkinds A1xJ1, American rapper JPEGMAFIA, unorthodox rap innovator Knucks, freestyling underground star Morrison, the return of unique and revered American rapper and comedian Danny Brown, British storyteller Potter Payper and viral Liverpool freestyler Hazey.
