Panic! At The Disco are a sight to behold on the Main Stage this evening. It’s hard to believe it has been twelve (yes, TWELVE) years since they first played the Main Stage at Reading Festival.
Today they are pop-rock royalty and front man Brendon Urie is a true rock star in every sense of the word. Opening with a full orchestra, they burst straight into a run of hits including ‘Mona Lisa.’
Urie has the crowd in the palm of his hand from the off, dressed in a sharp black blazer, looking hot as hell and smashing through hits like ‘Death of a Bachelor’ and ‘Nine in the Afternoon’ all while jumping around the stage.
Brendon Urie hits all the high notes impeccably and channels the energy of Freddie Mercury, even managing to pay homage with a cover of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ If you’ve seen ‘Suicide Squad’ you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about.
Finishing off the set with “the song where it all began for Panic,” ‘I Write Sins, Not Tragedies’ and ‘Victorious’ Panic have produced a co-headline set that has blown the audience away, fireworks and all. Tonight, they are victorious.
